Tuition Reimbursement
We believe and support higher education for its employees. We
provide financial support to employees wanting to pursue higher
education or training designed to enhance their career development.
The program supports employees wanting to take a class that directly or
indirectly relates to their job. The employee must meet the following
criteria for education reimbursement.
- Employee is required to discuss their educational plans with their immediate supervisor.
- Course(s) must be pre-approved by the Human Resources Department.
The employee must complete a pre-approval form. Course(s) must be
taken at a recognized institution.
- Employee must pass the course(s) with a grade of “C” or better.
- After completion of the course(s), the employee must complete a
“Request for Reimbursement Form”. The employee must attach the
support information (report card, tuition fee receipts and book
receipts).
- Reimbursement will be paid at 80% of tuition, and books, up to the following limits:
1. Part-time employees will be reimbursed at $750 annually
2. Full-time employees will be reimbursed at $1,500 annually
3. There are also 25 $1,000 scholarships available annually for
children/grandchildren of Susser personnel attending local colleges and
universities
