STARS Fundraising Campaign

Through donations in our stores, SSP customers and employees donated $47,444 in 2005 and $33,494 in 2006 to the STARS Scholarship Foundation.

South Texas Academic Rising Scholars (STARS) was established in October 2002 as a grass-roots organization. It was founded with the goal of making higher education accessible to the students of South Texas. Since its beginnings, the STARS Scholarship Foundation of South Texas has helped local students obtain higher education at the college or university of their choice.
